Health and Safety Connexions can assist in developing, implementing and maintaining tailored health and safety processes to give business owners/senior management a level of assurance that they’re doing their best to provide a safe and healthy workplace for their people. We don’t push legislation but enjoy helping business owners do the right thing, promote conversations and engage with people to connect them with health and safety.

We are able to give you the guidance and support you need, taking you through the right steps that ensure your health and safety processes will meet the expectations of all parties. We specialise in completing development of systems, tools and resources to meet legislative/industry requirements and providing health and safety education.

If you want to create positive change in your business to improve your health and safety performance, we can provide you with practical solutions. This may include working with owners and/or managers, providing education to staff, creating health and safety documentation, implementing software or helping you embed your health and safety processes.

You may also require an external perspective for site inspections or incident investigations or just need short term support to fill a vacancy or complete a project.


We specialise in pre-qualification submissions, including local government, Tōtika, Impac, SiteWise and private contractor pre-qualification processes.  Having developed a close working relationship with SHE Prequal who are approved Tōtika members and the sole evaluator of the Waikato Councils’ pre-qualification scheme, we prefer to use SHE Prequal making the process simpler and quicker to get our clients approved.


To provide the best solutions for our clients, we have elected to partner with software providers that we believe will meet the needs of our clients should they wish to take the paper-based systems into the digital world.   We are proud to have a partnership with Evotix (formerly SHE Software Ltd) suitable for our larger clients – offering a fully tailorable and configurable platform with offline App accessibility and BWARE for our smaller clients. We will work with our partners and our client to set up and implement as required.


ConstructSafe is a national health and safety competency assessment (test) for the construction industry.  It provides assurance that every worker on-site understands the same things, in order to carry out their jobs safely.

Health and Safety Connexions are now a licensed ConstructSafe business, with one Supervisor available to carry out ConstructSafe knowledge assessments. Whether it’s the Foundation or Tier 4 assessment you are wanting, we can assist.

We provide:

  • A friendly, professional and relaxed testing environment

  • All the testing equipment (tablets and headphones) 

  • Onsite assessments at an agreed time that suits your work day.

  • A follow up email to let you know how testing went and any recommendations we have to help support your team.
